Lanzarote Day 1/7

Well that was unexpected.

The night started with the usual things and feelings before the trip:
  • little sleep
  • little nervous
  • little excitement
  • little rush
  • little paranoia
  • little doubt
Going to bed at 1 am and waking up at 4 am - just enough sleep to function as a semi-human being. Muy bien! 

Going through checklist for important stuff before heading out:
  • ID card - check
  • phone - check
  • credit card - check
  • sun glasses - check (guess who still forgot them - in the car)
Arriving at the airport, doing check-in, going through security - all easy and quick. Then long-ass flight.

Note to self: prepare also for the flight, not only for the stay.

Lanzarote, Canary islands

Smooth landing, good weather - sun and wind - yay! We were greeted by travel agent and "instructed" to go to the parking lot where the transfer bus is waiting. Guess who got LOST? Guess who did not make it on the dedicated bus?
Oh my friend was going berserk - sooo mad. Me? I was up for an adventure - I was excited... interesting whats going to happens oooooo... WELLL....Meh nothing much, got put on another transfer bus - bam - we are at the hotel Be Live Experience in Costa Teguise city.

Unpacking, tired, ready to lazy around in the sun. Mmmm warm (no not really was really cold)




BUT not so fast - must go for a walk on the beach

Then lean on a palm tree


I guess missing the bus thing was the second most exciting thing that happened on this whole 7 day trip...

Lanzarote Day 3/7 place 1

Tourists attractions 1/6 11.02.2019 Jardin de Cactus - place 1 Jameos del Agua - place 2 Cueva de los Verdes - place 3 Mirador del Rio - place 4 First tourist attraction was garden of the cacti aka Jardin de Cactus. At the entrence there was a huge cactus made of metal. The first idea I got is that my dad could make one of these (maybe smaller) for Haapsalu garden. Just after the entrance panoramic view: It looked like a cacti crate. There were walls that you could climb and walk on, to see all the little cacti. The windmill that is seen in the background one can go into it, and explore a little - where I had a fight with my traveling companion. Because I was acting like a kid and wanting to touch everything. Then some tiny fluffy cacti: Some coral looking cacti This one looks like coral in the seal. Very beautiful. Palm looking cacti and I Extra mini cacti - key chain The cacti in the key chain is very much alive and needs some water occasionally...

Lanzarote Day 3/7 place 3

Tourists attractions 3/6 11.02.2019 Jardin de Cactus - place 1 Jameos del Agua - place 2 Cueva de los Verdes - place 3 Mirador del Rio - place 4 Third tourist attraction was also a cave aka Cueva de los Verdes. This was more interesting then previous one. It was quite deep, however always above sea level.
